I'll be gone in 12 hours time. Try to blog at the airport tonight if I have time, otherwise this would be the last post of this blog.

This blog will be suspended indefinitely while I'm in Norway. There will be another blog solely for my Norway trip.

Bye!

I think I am almost done with my packing. It seems that I can fit everything just nicely into 1 check-in luggage and 1 hand-carry. Now, am I such a good packer or have I missed out lots of things which I didn't realize? But then I can't seem to find the CDs that came with my laptop. Oh bother. My friends seems to be packing and re-packing like mad coz they have too many things to bring. My stuffs are all almost in except for the few things which I'm still using like my laptop, hp charger and also stuff like a pair of sandals, a cap and a pair of sunglass which I need to pop out to buy tomorrow.

------------------------------------------------------------

Had lunch at Jack's Place with Bong, Qinz and X.Wei. Both Qinz and I had ribeye steak and both of us asked for it to be medium-well but the waiter happily omitted the 'well' for me. And I ddin't bother to correct him as I thought it wouldn't make too much of a difference BUT I was wrong. It was too bloody for my liking and the ribeye is not exactly that fantastic so I left my half untounched. And also the coke tasted funny, with a tap water smell. Very strong tap water smell if I may add. It must be the water used for the ice-cubes. I've drank directly from the tap before but didn't have such a smell. Alerted the mananger but still my new glass of coke had the smell. I didn't bother to change it again, just left the coke untouched again.

Miss Tan. The first to reach after umpteen nagging by me. Wahaha... But then she is the first coz
1) it is quite near to her house
2) I called her at 10.15 am (we're suppose to meet at 11am)
3) Most importanly, she is not wearing make-up. Muahah

After which Bong and I went down to bugis to settle some business. It was damn funny when she keep telling me "look... he looks scared. He keep looking over. see..he scared" I wanted to laugh. But I think he is scared probably of me more than of Bong. Coz I wasn't smiling and you know what I look like when I don't smile. I probably looked like I was terribly pissed off. Plus when he asked me a qn earlier on I just directly give him a "You ask yourself la, you ask me" answer. oops. Poor guy. After that Bong says he is quite cute. *roll eyes* You suppose to scold him la Miss.

Us while waiting for the China students in Bugis. This shot is after multiple tries but then she still has big-small eye.
There is this group of students that I got to know when I went for my Sino-Sing exchange in May. They are here for exchange in NUS and since I will be flying soon I decided to meet them yesterday and as usual Miss Sai Gang is with me. Hohoho.... I think I must have saved her life in her previous incarnation. And she was in heels...I think she had a very good leg workout yesterday.
We brought them to Bugis Village, the Guan Yin Temple, the Indian Temple then to the Hawker opposite OG for some food. Then it is to the national library, new and old supereme court, chimjes, esplanade. All these are done on foot ok. The waited for Weihan to join us for dinner at the open air hawker at Esplanade and then drinks at Marina Square's HK cafe. I finally reached home ard 12midnight. I concussed at 1am. I was really exhausted and only woke up at 10.30am!

Outside old supreme court.

Zheng Jie, Wang Cong, Me, Mo Wei, Lu Xiang. They're from Xiamen University.

This guy simply had to take multiple shots with everything. He took with the front view, back view, left view and right view of the Merlion.

Us enjoying the sea-breeze while waiting for Weihan to join us for dinner.

The night view of my island home - Singapore.

Work is so tiring!!! It is not difficult. It is just tedious and tiring! I felt like dying everyday after work. When I reached home it is dinner then tv then sleep. Very no time!! Haiz. Luckily my dear mummy for once is nice and went to help me buy alot of stuff that I need and even my hand-carry luggage. For the first time she bought something decent which I didn't complain about! Haha!

And and finally I got my MISS BOSSY! Miss Sunshine decided to do some OT today and keeping shining till 8pm so that Miss Bossy can find her way to her rightful home. Wahah! Thanks Miss Sunshine. Muackz!! =)

8 more days. I'm counting down to the day I'm boarding the plane. I've mixed feelings now. Part of me are getting excited but still part of me are kinda dreading it. I know I can perfectly well take care of myself but still it is different. Being able to take care of myself and wanting to take care of myself is 2 totally different matters. I for one is lazy to the core especially in matters like cooking and housework. I absolutely D.R.E.A.D it. I'm v dependent on my Mum to throw the laundry into the washing machine, to put food on the table. My mood will change instantly when she wants me to hang out the laundry or to sweep the floor. I always rebutt her that I can get a maid to clean my house next time whenever she mention that my future house will be a pig sty . I can't imagine having to spend hours cooking, doing laundry, cleaning etc. -_-" It doesn't really help that I have yet to start packing my luggage and I'm still working and also some overseas friends will be coming over a few days before I fly. So many things to do in so little time.

People are also getting on my nerves. Some do not know what they are saying yet they are still giving advices like a pro. Some keep asking me when I'm flying and how's my packing every time they get a chance to talk to me, sometimes it is like every other day. You suffering from some kind of memory loss? Some thinks I'm Miss-Know-It-All and askes me every single thing from the luggage to the shops there. HELLO? How on earth would I know when I've not even gone over?

Please just be smart and detect if you're pissing me off and if you're, better get yourself out of my way/sight, at least for now. Leave me alone to find the 'enthusiasm' to pack my luggage and settle outstanding issues before I fly.

Oh btw, I receive your postcard!! =) You know who you are.

I have a report to submit and I'm procastinating again. Being irresponsible is a big skill to learn, for me.

By now you must have heard of the 2 national day songs for this year, 'There's no place I'll rather be' and 'Will you'. If you have not, then it is time to get out of your cave!! Mediacorp has been playing it countless times over the air and on tv. Which song do you like?

Well, I like both. In fact I like most national day songs coz they are close to the heart, especially those sung by Kit Chan. 'There's no place I'll rather be' reflects the voice of most people today or maybe I should say it reflects what the government hopes the young thinks today. These people are well-travelled and highly adaptable. They are constantly being courted by greener pastures so the only thing that can tie them back here are the memories, the emotional ties, the family and friends. The other song, 'Will you' is more energetic, more catchy but I can't really remember the lyrics.

I was on my way home after work and I heard the Yes 933 version of the national song and I nearly burst out laughing. The remix was so funny. I had to refraint from smiling to myself lest I end up looking like an idiot smiling to herself. I take my hats off the people who changed the lyrics.

TAXI BUS 和 MRT
这是美食的天地 有很多好吃东西
LAKSA CHAR KWAY TEOW 和那 LOR MEE
不满意有云吞MEE
还有SATAY 和福建MEE…

I've just sent an email to mediacorp answering the question "Who sang this year's NDP song There's No Plac I'll Rather Be". Winner will get tickets to NDP preview. Hope I'll get it!!! Though I have no idea when is the preview. It better be before I fly off!! I want to watch NDP!! Grrrr... I have never been to the stadium to watch coz I never managed to get the tickets. This year it is held on the floating platform for the first time and I will not even get to see it on TV coz I'll be off in Bergen by then!! Grrrrr...

Someone please RECORD it down for me to watch when I come back!!! Thanks.

Off to school now.. UOC's first day.
